I started doing Internet Radio in 2009. My first station was 96.9 Lite FM. That station morphed into the very successful 96.9 The Oasis. About 4 years ago I got the bug to expand and relaunch 97 Lite FM. This station is the result.
Stations now days seem to be stuck into only playing music from today. Or stations play only songs from the 80's, 90's, and Today. Some stations drop the 80's altogether. That is where 97 Lite FM comes in. We play over 3,000 songs from the late 60's early 70's through Y2K, and beyond.
When you listen long enough you will see we're not like just any Lite station. Oh yes we do play all the hits from the 70's through Y2K, but we also play some deeper cuts and extended versions of songs. All commercial free! We're here 24/7 playing all your favorites. It's really the songs you grew up with.
